My Dolly Week #75: Salt & Surprises!

Good evening and welcome back to another Dolly Week, everybody! This time I am pretty overwhelmed and not quite sure, where to start. Let’s start with the surprise, even though it cannot be healthy to end salty. (So much potential for lots of puns, I’m in heaven!)

THE DOLLY COLLECTOR TAG ๐ŸŽ€

Whee, here I am! ๐Ÿ™ˆ Being in front of the camera is a completely different experience, but at least I had good company. ๐Ÿ˜‰ This tag is really old, but I thought that it would be a nice way to introduce myself to you. That being said, it took me three times to film this thing and lots of computer crashes while editing, so to finally be able to share it, is my own personal miracle! ๐Ÿ˜น

My Dolly Week #70: Pushing Yourself!

Rise being a wa lolitaLast Sunday something inside of my head clicked. It is always difficult to pin down the exact moment, when things change. I am constantly thinking about this blog, about the content I post and hope to produce in the future. And with my regular posting schedule I was starting to feel comfortable. This comfortable feeling is dangerous because it also means that you are caught up in a routine that could easily go on forever – and this is not what I want because I want to do and learn so much more! It also dawned on me that this comfortable space was only an illusion because there were certain things at the back of my head, who I did not dare to touch. And still, the more I ignored them, the more my longing to actually face them grew! Continue reading My Dolly Week #70: Pushing Yourself!

My Dolly Week#69: Tweeting & Dolly-ing!

Welcome to another My Dolly Week; I hope that all of you are well and are also having lots of fun! Last week I threw myself into new endeavors and am still learning, which is always a good thing. Honestly, I hope that I will never get tired of learning new things ever!

My summery flower girls Ruri & Mayu! After ignoring Twitter for over a year because I never bothered to completely learn all of its features or how to properly communicate, I started it up again with the intention of being more personal in between the announcements of new posts and dolly pictures. I am still a bit shy and embarassed, but I hope that you like a sprinkle of Kpop and like to know, which films I am watching. ๐Ÿ˜‰ And, the thing I am most nervous about, is that I want to post my dolly pics with Japanese captions, since I noticed way more Japanese dolly fans on Twitter than on Instagram. Please check out my account, I would love to see you over there! Continue reading My Dolly Week#69: Tweeting & Dolly-ing!

My Dolly Week #66: Let’s Catch Up!

Welcome, everybody! It has been a while and I would like to catch up with you all! At the end of April life knocked me down and even though I tried my best at first, I could not roll with the punches or better said, could not keep up with my writing and photography. My personal life had to become my priority, which is why I can say now that I am feeling way better. I have not completely arrived in my normal everyday to day life yet, but there is enough place in my mindset for my dolls now, which I am immensely thankful for. After all, you need the things you are passionate for to feel like yourself!

Getting some cuddles with Disney cuties! In the following days I am going to share my new dolly friends on my Instagram (click here!), before preparing a big blog post starring my newbies and also an update with my thoughts on upcoming doll releases. Spoiler: I need to seriously save up some money! >< Oh, and I got some ponies! XD I did not do too much damage, but there is a post coming up and the pictures have already been shot.

I really, really appreciate that you are back! Writing this short update, makes me realize how much I was longing for this moment to get back to blogging again!

Thank you so, so much for reading!

Tips for Starting Pullip Collectors!

I have always wanted to write a post about starting a Pullip collection and to share all the things that I have learned so far. Getting into a new hobby can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to dolls and their many varieties. So this post will be particular about Pullips and hopefully you will fall in love with them just as much as I did!

My Dolly Week #62: Mia in May!

Mia being fluffy!Welcome everybody! I hope that you are all having a lovely long weekend and are welcoming May with lots of joy in your hearts! The last few days already felt like the middle of summer and I am spending lots of time outside in the sun. It is kind of a cute contrast to Miss Mia’s outfit. She is wearing her original outfit because I finally want to start to properly introduce her to you and also because these colours suit her so well. You cannot really see her ear muffs, but they are very fluffy and since Mia prefers to stay warm, everything is perfect! Continue reading My Dolly Week #62: Mia in May!

My Dolly Week #58: Happy Easter!

Minnie's Easter room!Happy Easter, everyone! Whether you celebrate it or not, I hope you are having a nice little spring holiday! Last week was a whirlwind for me and I unfortunately could not invest as much time into my dolls, as I would normally like to. On the plus side, I started fixing my sleep schedule and ventured out into nature (during the day) to break the bad habit of living like a vampire (nothing against vampires, but it was just not working out for me..)! Miss Minnie welcomes you and let’s get started! Continue reading My Dolly Week #58: Happy Easter!
