Join me on my latest visit to Tokyo Disneyland last December, which was the first time that I ‘dared’ to vlog our adventures. I was a bit scared, if my endeavour turned out too shaky, but in the end, it’s the fun at Disney that counts! 😊
Please stay tuned for my Tokyo Disney Sea and Universal Studio Japan vlogs! 💖
I bought things for my upcoming visits to Tokyo Disney Resort – that is basically the gist of this video! 😊 At the same time I am also sharing my plans, dreams and merchandise collection. There is lots of love for Duffy merchandise in this video as well! 🐻
I love Disney! 🏰 Is there anything else to say?! 😊 But to give you a bit more context: You will find a lot of Disney in my everyday life, since I love to collect Disney merchandise. To kick off my Disney related content on this channel, I decided to do the Disney tag with videos about my park plans for Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea to come, as well as Disney vlogs and vlogs about my collection! 🐭
Whee, here I am! 🙈 Being in front of the camera is a completely different experience, but at least I had good company. 😉 This tag is really old, but I thought that it would be a nice way to introduce myself to you. That being said, it took me three times to film this thing and lots of computer crashes while editing, so to finally be able to share it, is my own personal miracle! 😹
It is already the second installment of Mei’s Musings and I have to say; it is quite flattering that people are interested in what I have to say! 😀
So flattering even that I am wearing a new sweater today. I was craving pastel pink for the end of summer and can never resist a touch of cuteness and whimsy. Why just wear a cute bunny living inside a donut with lilac frosting on your shirt, when you can become a bunny yourself?! I got it from Cyristine Creations on Etsy, who has the cutest pastel fairy kei clothes for girls like me. As a special bonus, my white shorts by Culture Japan are the perfect fit. I am still waiting for some socks to complete my look. Continue reading Mei’s Musings #2: Ufufufuuu~fy!
Have you ever heard or even watched something, which you did not quite believe, but still had to try out?! This happened to me last Sunday, when I rediscovered my favourite childhood Barbie dolls. They had been stored in a box for more than ten years and their hair was far from fresh looking. More like old, frizzy and well played with. This was, when my friend asked me, if I would give them a spa with fabric softener and boiling water. Doesn’t it sound brutal to boil your dolls’ hair? Don’t be fooled, only people that truly care would walk the distance! Blythe fans have known this method for years and it is also a popular technique to straighten frizzy synthetic wigs (which I will try next). Another plus is that your dolls will smell super nice and fresh in the end. So fresh and so clean! Continue reading How To Revive Old Barbie Hair!
Here we go again with more Qposket cuties! As a fan of ‘Sleeping Beauty’, I was excited to see that there was going to be a release of Princess Aurora, while she was still living under the name of Briar Rose, which was given to her by the three fairies to protect her from Maleficent. (It worked out for a while…) Her figure is brand new and no recoloured release, which traditionally means that next to her version, there also is a version b with a pale pastel colouring. This is a common release strategy, when it comes to Japanese figures, but I personally have to say that I always prefer my figures to have bright colours! Last year one of my dreams came true: After wanting to visit a Disney Park for nearly two decades, I finally got to visit Disneyland Tokyo. But there is not only one Disney Park in Tokyo, but also Disney Sea, which is located right next to it. Both visits were absolutely spectacular, but there was something about Disney Sea that I enjoyed a little bit more-not only from an experience-, but also from an exclusive merchandise-perspective. You all have to know that Disney movies are the foundation of my childhood (especially Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Robin Hood and The Lion King), but I am not very savvy when it comes to lesser known characters. Combine this fact with my inner cat lady and now imagine that everywhere in Japan a pistachio-green colored cat appears in form of bag charms or even as a bag itself. I did not know its name, only the horrendous prices for its merchandise on the secondhand-market. 2016 finally made me wiser: It is Gelatoni, the Mediterranean friend of bears Duffy and Shellie May. Altogether they are the exclusive mascots for Tokyo Disney Sea and not to be found in regular Japanese Disney Stores! Continue reading Tokyo Disney Sea Mascots Haul 2016
