Still, these dolls are such creative works of art and I owe them a lot, since they’ve accompanied me during the start of my dolly collecting as an adult. πΎ

Welcome to a new Dolly Week, everybody! This time I am one year older and the proud owner of my first MiniFee and Silkstone Barbie.
The ending of ‘Final Fantasy X’ completely broke my heart and I am now playing its successor ‘FFX-2’. I love these games so much, it makes me so happy that I called my MiniFee Shushu, Rikku! I actually think that it fits her character really well and that she is super cute. Last week her wig came in the mail and now only her shoes are missing for her first video appearance. I love her so much, it is literally a whole new world!

The Weasley family is a such an important safety net in the world of protagonist Harry Potter, there is no way that Ron and Ginny would not make an appearance in Mattel’s line of ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets‘ dolls, which were made with the actors of 2002’s major motion picture in mind. Due to Ron and Ginny Weasley being both Gryffindors, just like Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, many of their features and accessories are the same, which is why I will feature them together in this post. Watching the Harry Potter films in the cinema, were always important dates in my childhood, which continued throughout my adolescence and were completed, when society categorized me as an adult. Even though I will always prefer the books of J. K. Rowling’s enormously famous fantasy saga about a young wizard fighting for the good, the films and their cast will always hold a special place in my heart! Now, sixteen years after the original release of ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets‘, Mattel decided to release a new line of six dolls, modelled after the characters appearing in the story. These characters are fan favorites Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Ginny Weasley, as well as headmaster Albus Dumbledore and professor Minerva McGonagall.
