‘Neko no Kaburimono’: The most perfect Gashapon for your Dolls!

My Halloween hats from the gashapon machine!‘Neko no Kaburimono’ from Kitan Club are little hats for your cats that you can get from gasha or capsule toy machines. Unfortunately, I have no patient kitty cat on hand to tell you, how those hats fulfill their purpose on a living and breathing cutie, but when the right kind of gashapon machines finally crossed my path, I initially had to get some for my dolly collection. These hats have actually been around for quite a while, but when I was visiting Tokyo, there were several series available, which I am going to show you right now!

The fit from the sides!Detail of the ghost! The hats from above! The pumpkin on my Neo-Blythe!The machine, where the hats came from! The newest series is a set out of four different Halloween themed designs, which I was so extremely happy about, since it is my favorite holiday! πŸ˜€ I managed to get three different hats for 500 Yen each (sadly, I missed out on the bat) and I was super suprised how detailed each of them is! The hats from this series are a little big on a Pullip and a little snug on a Blythe, but still very adorable on both! The Halloween hats do come with more fabric than the hats from other series, which covers the neck and upper part of the shoulder area. They are all soft and plushy. My ghost hat still looks a bit wonky, since it came out of the capsule, but I love it nonetheless and cannot decide on a favorite!

The sheep hats on Mayu and Ruri! The machine with the sheep hats!Sheep! Who does not love them?! Still, I kind of had my doubts, if sheepy hats could look cute on my dolls. I played twice and got two hats with horns in white and pink. They were 300 Yen each and I completely had to eat my words, when I put them on my Pullips. The fit is perfect for them and in this case I like to fasten the elastic band, which is sewn into the bottom of each hat, in the back of their necks to not hide their pretty kimonos too much. They also did a great job, when it comes to the fabric: It is super soft and totally imitates the look of a wooly sheep. I am a fan!

My hats from the bunny series! The machine with the bunny hats!Almost famous are these bunny hats, which I had seen before and already were available in the past in different color variations. I got three different ones from two series. Basically, you will get an adorable bunny hat for 300 Yen with two very long ears at the top out of the softest plush. The bunny ears are sewn to each other and again you have the choice to either fasten the elastic band under your doll’s chin or in the back of the neck. I like both options for the different effect. As you can see on my Rola (Pullip Nina) it looks a bit more sugary and kawaii in the front, while Poppy (Pullip Summer Purezza) and Sayaka (Pullip Prunella) are still able to show off their full outfits. It was so much fun to match these hats with their face-ups! πŸ™‚

Now I would really like to know: What hat is your favorite; the seasonal spooky ones or the lovely animal classics?

Thank you so much for reading!

    1. Thank you, but I cannot take the whole credit because is was my hubby, who reminded me to look for them! I think that they sell out pretty regularly, after being re-stocked after a few days. I am so roooting for you to go back and bring your dollies some lovely fun hats!!! πŸ˜€

I bought them from a gashapon machine in Japan. Right now I unfortunately haven’t found a place that sells them online. I would love to get more! ><
