Nothing can properly express, how incredibly lucky I feel today. My second Poison Girl’s Dolls Pullip Mayu arrived and there is this feeling in my chest that I will love her forever! Ruri feels the same way and we are doing our best to make her feel welcomed! A big thank you to MarΓa; her talent, craftsmanship and loveliness are truly inspiring!
Mayu is a Pullip with fair skin. I really love Pullips with black hair, but as you know, there are unfortunately not that many stock Pullips with black wigs around. Just like Ruri, there was a sweet girl I had imagined in my mind. MarΓa has this wonderful technique of rainbow colored eye makeup on the lower lashline combined with bright turquoise eyeshadow on the eyelids and colorful freckles. It is inspired by the fashionable girls of Harajuku and I love the contrast to her black hair and dark eyebrows. Also her eyechips are a beautiful turquoise with the most perfect mixture of soft light blue and soft light green. They remind me of the water in the shallow parts of the sea. She is a perfect little girl!
She also seems totally into bright colored fashion and – what could be more perfect – kitties! π Honestly, I want her shirt for myself. Maybe I will ‘borrow’ it, but don’t tell her! π Everything about her outfit is so cute: Mint ear muffs, a pastel yellow scarf and leg warmers, a bright lilac tulle skirt and different colored socks with lilac platform Mary Janes; not to forget her sweet teddy bear Miki.
Did you know that turquoise is my favorite color? Look at these beautiful eyelids! Again, such lovely work, which always takes my breath away: They are so precisely painted and, like the rest of her faceup,Β flawlessly melt into her skin. Doesn’t she look sooo cute with closed eyes! I bet, Ruri showed her, how to wrap me around her little finger!
Look at those two! π They instantly make me smile; can you also see their very different personalities?! They certainly are stoked to have each other and I am so looking forward to the many pictures I am going to take of them! For now, I want to go back and play with Mayu some more. I love her so much and want to show her around in her new home!
