Groove is on a roll with announcing new girls to us and it is amazing! Pullip Bouquetin, her name is French for capricorn, is the second recent Pullip release after Pullip Alrescha Pisces with a zodiac theme, which let’s me speculate, if we are going to see some more in the future. (As a true leo, I would probably just buy a leo-themed Pullip completely regardless, what she would like!)
Pullip Bouquetin is a little gold and black capricorn through and through her whole stock. I love her colour theme and it reminds me a lot of the night sky, which again is lovely in synch with the zodiac theme. She is also a rather dramatic looking release, but I can picture her rocking various styles of clothing too!
The face up is very focused on the eyes, especially on the lower lashes. All of her black eyeliner actually is a lovely contrast toΒ her ice blue eyechips! As you might already know about me, I am a big fan of colour on the lips and therefore her very pale pink lips are not completely my cup of tea. I do however love, how well they go with her healthy rosy pink cheeks. There is something very sweet about her expression too!
Unfortunately, she will not have colourful eyelids! Honestly, nowadays I am more surprised with girls actually sporting some colour on their lids than the other way around. I also have never met a Pullip collector that did not love a good surprise on those lids!
The wig seems to be a creamy white colour, matching well with her eyeshadow, very long and wavy. From my experience, stock wigs with that structure usually turn out to be out of nice quality. It is such a long wig, it actually looks like it is dragging on the floor.
I wish that Pullip Bouquetin would wear a longer dress. There, I said it. Of course, this is just my personal taste and as soon as I could get a better look at the material, I could completely change my mind. Will the gold be super sparkly? I am so excited to see display pictures (or I might even get to see her in person…we’ll see)!
