My Dolly Week #23: New Header, Feeling Fresh!

Welcome to My Dolly Week! I am not going to lie: Due to the many things that have to be done before my wedding, I am lucky, if I can sqeeze in a little bit of dolly time during the day. Our wedding is going to be pretty small, so I have no idea how other people are handling more guests-no wonder wedding planners are in such high demand! >< It definitely hurts to have my blog sit on the backburner a little bit, but the pressure lessens, the more we can cross of our list. This week I have finally found my dress and we also got my fiancé’s suit. At least there is no wondering anymore, if we will ever find something we like. And: Men have it so much easier, it’s crazy!

My Poison Girl cuties from today's photoshoot!Mayu in her new hat!Nonetheless, there were some awesome dolly moments, when Mayu’s new kitten hat from Juja Shop arrived in the mail all the way from Russia. I discovered them through María and the craftsmanship is no joke! It fits so perfectly, the mohair wool feels so nice and it immediately transforms your doll into a sweet kitty cat! She also has the most amazing hats for Blythes-those watermelon hats, I tell you! <3 I also hope that you like this rosy photograph of Ruri and Mayu and the new blog header. We are almost six months in and I wanted a slight change! 🙂

Alice du Jardin Mint with new eyechips!Classical Alice with new eyechips!Customizing my stock dolls is also really taking over. I ordered eyechips from Lullaby for Dolls and loved playing around with them. Elise (Pullip Classical Alice) is currently wearing Menthe Glaciale, while Alice (Pullip Alice du Jardin Mint Ver.) is wearing Minuit. I haven’t figured out their outfits yet, but I was so happy that the weather had cooled off for a few days that Alice got my version of a Pride & Prejudice look. There will be some more playing around next week, I promise!

New releases! Not a lot of big news from doll companies, but Takara Tomy is bringing us a cute and exciting Middie-Blythe release with Cute Little Dee! She has a develish concept, but her story described her as a sweet girl that could not hurt anybody’s feelings. I love her official drawings a lot and hope that she will just be as equally cute, when her photographs are released! She will be on sale in September!

One of my favorite fellow dolly enthusiasts, @crafteechan on instagram, is hosting a really lovely and generous giveaway on her account and I highly recommend you to check it out!

Last night we stayed up super late to buy tickets for the Sailor Moon musical Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: Le Mouvement Final, which worked out fine-but I can feel that I cannot pull allnighters anymore. I need my sleep! 😀 Anyhow, the musical is going to tell the story of the last Sailor Moon-arc Sailor Stars and it starts in September around the same time, Pullip Eternal Sailor Moon will be released. Artromdee is super popular on instagram with his Sailor Moon photographs and he started to work for Groove pretty recently, which resulted in beautiful photographs-with Sailor Stars images as the latest products. I am in awe of so much talent and love how he translates his passion into his pictures!

I hope that everybody had a great week and thank you so much for reading!

    1. You’re welcome! 😀 It was such a nice giveaway! <3

Thank you so much for liking how I style my dolls! 😀 It means a lot to me! I am still in the middle of so many projects and am loving it. Not running out of ideas soon! 😉

Yaaay, thank you: Going to one of the musicals has been a dream of mine, since they started a few years ago. I also have never been to a real show (out of theme parks) in Japan before. It is going to be sooo fun!

The Middie is really something else, isn't she?! 😀 I love her!
