My Dolly Week #14: Ruri!

Ruri from Poison Girl and Pullip Alice du Jardin Mint Ver.Nothing will overshadow Ruri from Poison Girl this week, even though she only arrived on Friday! I am so happy and she made me see the prior couple of days on a lighter note. There were some struggles with my health, but even though it is something I will have to deal with a little longer, I never lose faith in the belief that everything is going to be okay! If you are in a similar situation, trust my words, work the hardest you can and do your best! It will be fine and you will be too! In my head this is also what Alice is telling Ruri. I really wanted to take a picture of my first stock and my first custom Pullip. Who would be better than Alice to tell Ruri about this new home of hers?! And if you are wondering: Ruri borrowed from Elise’s stock outfit because Elise (Classical Alice) is sporting a new look, which I will share soon. Now Ruri is wearing her familiar clothes again to settle in and hopefully her outfits will arrive next week. (I need to stop fan-girling right now; otherwise I will never finish this post! ><) I love my dollies so much! 😀

instructions of my new light boxOnly yesterday I got my new light box. I desperately needed a cost effective way to gain independency from only using daylight in my photographs. The problem was pretty much my schedule, which I have to coordinate with my day job and my fiancé, who is working night shifts. My only options were either having a complete opposite daily routine than him or finding another way to keep the quality of my pictures up and/or even to improve them. This should also allow me to post more at the beginning of the week, when I am the busiest. I only did a few test shoots in my bedroom so far, but I am quite excited and have lots of ideas!

Speaking of ideas, I want to post a wishlist for Japan because the clock is ticking and I cannot wait! I am extremely nervous, when it comes to my wedding, so I’ll rather concentrate on my honeymoon. 😉 (Mind you, the thought of being married isn’t my concern, it is more the wedding itself: Being an introvert and disliking being in the spotlight.) There might be a Blythe on my wishlist. This week Junie Moon released stock photos of Joana Gentiana, who is a cute brunette folksy girl, but I am still more excited to see actual stock pictures from Home Sweet Home, Pineapple Princess and Garden of Joy!

Pullip Classical RabbitNo announcement from Groove, BUT Pullip Classical Rabbit from 2013 is finally coming back! She will be available from Pullip Style by the end of June and from Plasticpop by the end of July. I have to admit that my heart skipped a beat, when I heard this news! Hopefully I will be able to pre-order her, since she is one of the few sold out dolls that I kept on my grail list. The Mint version of Kiyomi from 2016 is also back on pre-order! If you haven’t checked her out yet, I absolutely recommend to do so!

Who is excited for a new week?! I am going to introduce Ruri to even more sisters now! 🙂

Have a lovely day and thank you so much for reading!

  1. Ruri looks so beautiful! I can’t wait to see her future photos.

I can’t wait to see the new Blythe dolls in person next month! Let’s see if one comes home with me!

Pullip Classical Rabbit is too cute! I’m trying not to buy too many new dolls… but I might have to get her!

    1. Haha, you are making Ruri blush! 😀

It will be so nice to see those cute dollies in person! Will you share some of your trip on instagram? I bet, it’s going to be amazing!

For the Rabbit I really hope that she will stick around for some time and won’t be gone before everybody has made up their mind! >< I would hate to miss out on her!
